|EN: As you might know from earlier posts or my Instagram page, I went on a biking holiday with my boyfriend. Because of the weather turning bad, we went home early, but the three days we had were amazing! You see so much more of the Netherlands by bike than by train or car! I would totally recommend it! We bumped into so many lovely Dutch sceneries, like wind mills, cows in meadows, enormous meadows for as far as you can see, canals, small creeks, boats, bridges and scenic farms and villages! In this post I’m showing you every lovely thing we bumped into during our trip and I will share the names of the villages where I took the shots, if I remember them. There is only one shot of our trip from Utrecht to Gouda, because it started raining cats and dogs very quickly after we left and it didn’t stop until we arrived in Utrecht, like I also mentioned in this outfit post. But that one shot happens to be my favorite of them all! I hope you’ll like this very Dutch post!
|We biked over this cute little street for 12 kilometers from Woerden to Bodegraven! It was lovely!|
|EN: The day after we biked from Amsterdam to Gouda, we stayed in Gouda until about 3 PM to explore the city for a bit. There were references to the famous Gouda cheese everywhere! When it was raining, we also went into the Gouda cheese museum and that was actually pretty fun! BTW, if you’re ever in Gouda, I absolutely recommend restaurant ‘t Bakhuys on the central market! They have papas there, Dutch tapas, renamed after the pancakes which you can also order as a tapa. But they have lots of more tapa dishes like meat, fish, quiche, mini salads, etc. It costs €19,95 p.p. and there are 5 rounds in which you can order 2 papas at a time.||

|EN: The last day of our trip, we spent the entire day in Utrecht. It would be the last sunny day for a while, so we decided to enjoy it in Utrecht! I’ve been to Utrecht before, but all those times I had a specific location I had to go to, so I never really got the chance to explore the city. And I must say, it’s really pretty! Like Amsterdam, it has a lot of canals, but they are different from the ones in Amsterdam. The canals have little embankments below at the water (like in Paris!) and on some of them there are terraces where you can have a drink or have dinner! Very lovely!||
|EN: And, how did you like this super Dutch post? Haha! And what fun things did you do this summer, or do you still have fun things planned? Let me k now!||
