A little while ago, I was introduced to Søstrene Grene in video’s of some Dutch YouTubers. And since a few weeks, we now have our very own Søstrene Grene store in Amsterdam! So, I obviously had to go there to check it out! I decided to take my camera with me and take some photos of what the store has to offer. They offer a great range of interior accessories like those rose gold baskets, candle holders, rugs, candles, mugs and tea pots. But they also have a whole bunch of Christmas decoration in a ton of different colors, a whole lot of gift boxes in various shapes and sizes, stuff for DIYing and baking equipment. I really like the store! The prices are pretty low, and I will definitely be back! And I found something I had been looking for for a long time! First, I will show you the store, and afterwards I will show you my buys! Did you already know Søstrene Grene? And what do you think of their collection?
I didn’t get the little chalkboard, but I might be going back for it. I’ve been craving for a little frame with the quote ‘Home is where the cat is’ in it, but I can’t find it anywhere. So it would be fun to write that on the chalkboard!
If I ever need a box for anything, I know where to go! I loved these blue ones <3 So pretty, and great to store your stuff in! Or to use as a gift box!
They had folding boxes in in all sorts of prints and colors. Great when you want to give jewelry as a gift! I really love gift wrapping (haha, this sounds strange), so I really loved all these big bows. And they have paper straws in a lot of colors!
I’m really into baking and cooking, and into turquoise, so when I saw this I got super excited, haha!
I loved the sign below. All the cash registers had these signs. This one said “Register for happy people”, and there were also other signs like “Register for very patient people” and stuff like that. I appreciate little funny things like this!
And these are my buys! I also got tealights, but those are not pictured. I had been looking for a light string with copper balls around it for such a long time. But they were so expensive everywhere! And then I found them at Søstrene Grene for €5,57. Happy me! Also, I’ve been looking for a marble print something to use as a background for product photos for like forever. This roll is actually a huge sticker, but I can also use it for product photos of course. As the gift wrapping lover that I am, I couldn’t resist the newspaper style gift wrapping paper with Christmas song lyrics on it, and the cute ribbon. I also got these little pearl stickers. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with those yet, but I really liked the idea and they were only 98 cents, so I figured that wouldn’t hurt me, haha! Could also be fun to stick some on a small gift or something. We’ll see!
So, what do you think of my buys? And did you already know Søstrene Grene? :-)
