In the blog post series ‘Talking Style’ I’m interviewing fellow bloggers about their style. And I ask them for tips of fun unknown shops, and how to find your own style! This time, I’m talking style with Lily from Hashtag by Lily! So, time to get to know her and her style a little better!
1. How would you describe your style?
I noticed that a lot has changed since I started blogging. I really like to mix different styles and experiment with that. But for the most part, I think you can describe my style als feminine, classy, with a twist.
2. What can visitors expect when they land on your blog?
When I started my blog 2 years ago, I mainly focussed on fashion, so you’ll regularly find outfits and fashionshow reports on my blog. Since last year I decided to combine this with travel. I had set the goal to go outside the country at least once a month, and until now that’s been working out pretty great.
3. What’s on top of your wishlist?
Anything Celine =D
4. What’s your favorite go-to outfit?
Ooooh tough one! Go-to outfit for an event: high waist pants or skirt with a crop top and high heels. Go-to outfit for a casual day: jeans, t-shirt and my Isabel Marant hidden heels sneakers.
5. Who’s your biggest (fashion) inspiration or example?
Elin Kling, a formal blogger, was my biggest example. She set up an entire imperium in the industry with her blog. Very admirable!
6. Which item in your closet is your absolute favorite?
My new Chloe Drew bag and my MMM x HM glass heels.
7. Any smaller or unknown brands we need to know about?
I want everything from the collections of the British label Lavish Alice.
8. What is your favorite trend at the moment?
Quirky items, like the cat collection by Karl Lagerfeld or the eye trend by Kenzo.
9. And last, but not least, any tips for people who are currently figuring out their own style?
I find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest. I really like to pin streetstyle from other bloggers as inspiration. When you use these pin boards as mood boards, you can figure out what you’re style is.
