About two weeks ago I went to an event I was invited to. I didn’t really have any expectations. On the invite it said it was the launch of a new brand, and it also said to ‘Bring your boots’. Other than that I didn’t have much information. And it turned out to be such an amazing event! The location was amazing, and they had delicious bites. They even took care of vegetarian and vegan bites. And there was a real photoshoot with a photographer and a make-up artist. So much fun!
The new brand turned out to be Bootiez. Bootiez are sleeve-like accessories you can use to give your boots (or basically any other pair of shoes) an upgrade. You put them on your legs, then add your regular shoes, and there you have a new pair of shoes! A fun way to expand your shoe-wardrobe, without taking too much space in your closet. Yay!
I’m also really excited about the fact that Bootiez uses high quality faux-leather and faux-suede. As you might know I personally don’t wear leather, so I love the fact that Bootiez is thinking about us vegetarians and vegans! Personally I totally fell in love with the ‘Pearls are a girls best friend’ pair. These will be in my mail box some time soon. So you can definitely expect an outfit post with those!
So back to the event! Yasmine did my make-up, and after that I got to wear two different pairs of Bootiez and do a professional photoshoot with Reidunn. It was all so much fun and all the girls were so nice. I even got to hold a couple of balloons with confetti in them. #GOALS A week after the event I found the photos in my mail box and I got to pick a couple of favorites to use for my blog. And those are the photos you’re looking at right now! I’m sooooo happy with them! First of all, I’m not at all used to seeing myself with a total make-up look. I’m so not capable of doing that myself, haha! Also, the light in the photo is sooo pretty. Reidunn really knows what she’s doing! And of course there are the Bootiez and the balloons! All in all, this event was a huge success! And I’m very happy to have these pictures as a reminder!
What do you think of Bootiez? And how about my photos? :D
